International finance: The Tomponzi Investigations Agency activated a new service in the branch dedicated to "Industrial Investigations" called "SAFE CONTRACTS". To aid all those undertaking various types of contractual jobs or that will be dealing in merchantry sectors, by reassuring them of the transparency and integrity of the company or person they will be dealing with. The words pronounced by the anti-Mafia Attorney General, Pierluigi Vigna, after the arrest of some of the bosses of the Russian Mafia at "Madonna di Campiello", make us think: "These men managed to run businesses in international finance sectors, recycling their 'dirty-business' in Italy in lawful businesses without any problem." It was extremely well planned out. Alberto Grotti, the ex-president of the ENI, involved some time ago in the tangent scandals, the Russians, some accomplices, corrupt functionaries their compatriots were said to have sold petrol in Italy and to have bought technology (Olivetti computers) and fashion (Armani clothes). This was just their latest activity, Grotti in fact worked for them in many sectors, moving capitals worth billions of lire. This reported fact leads us to the heart of the problem the Tomponzi Investigations was hired to tackle, by many important Italian companies. This in fact is the reason they activated the new service called "Safe Contracts" in the branch dedicated to "Industrial Investigations". "SAFE CONTRACTS" was created to protect, after exigent investigations, those companies or people when dealing with other companies, Italian or foreign, or those making various types of merchandise and material sales. For some time now in many sectors of the public and private industry, there has been a stalling situation. Many of the managers or presidents of important national companies are afraid of delegating their work to other companies. They are not prepared to take the risk of the other company not being very "clean", involving them against their will in judicial misadventures. Many of the laws, such as the Merloni of 1994 and most important the context, are being re-examined by Chambers. It allows, for example, a firm that contracts public jobs to prove its suitability, (art. 2, comma 1) through a system of "qualifications carried out by private organizations that are certifiably authorized". (Submitted to the court for the verification of "general qualifications, organizational techniques and financial positions" of the companies in question.). These norms are not always a sufficient guarantee of the integrity of the company you will be dealing with. For this reason, thousands and millions of companies ready to close big deals have been blocked for years. Nobody is therefore willing to put their signature on something that may end up being extremely compromising. The Tomponzi Investigations (the only agency in Italy able to tackle this type of problem) is assigned the task of discovering if a potential partner is trustworthy. This service, recently offered by the Roman investigations agency is common in the rest of the world, especially in the United States, in Great Britain and in Switzerland. It is a very difficult task and in order to obtain results the utmost secrecy and professionalism is required. It is essential in order to be successful to have a large amount of human, economical and material resources. The investigator must become when needed, an expert in economics and law and must be able to depend on an organization able to create a false company as a trap, or so called "bait" for the company that is under suspicion. It is not permitted to speak much about the "Safe Contracts" service yet. It is important though, to know that there is someone able to carry out this service, that follow certain required standards, that you can rely on and that have had more than 40 years of experience in high level investigations all over the world.
