Industrial Counterfeit:
The constant growth of Industrial Terrorism. According to data elaborated by Miriam Tomponzi, president of the Tomponzi Investigations agency, after having executed a series of investigations on behalf of large agricultural goods groups in Europe, in the last five years almost 35% of these productive businesses were victims of criminal counterfeit of their products. On more than one occasion, though the newspapers did not report it, the health of millions of consumers was put at great risk.

The latest episode was that of the Thomy, a fully owned subsidiary of Nestlä. The German police discovered a tube of mustard made by a German company, in a supermarket in Saacbruechen, containing a lethal dose of cyanide. It was then discovered that Thomy was being blackmailed, obviously by someone that wanted to make money and destroy the name of the company owned by Nestlä, by spreading out Thomy products. (In cases such as alimentary counterfeit, if the victim does not take immediate action and precautions against a similar thing happening again, they will see their market shares in a brief period of time, melt like snow in the sun.). Not only were these products counterfeit, but extremely dangerous for the health of all the consumers. For every case like this one, there are another 10 not uncovered yet. Sometimes the companies give in to the blackmailer, in other better cases the company orders a series of internal and external investigations to find and solve the problem discretely.
