1,000 billion worth of counterfeit or stolen car parts Sales on the Italian market of counterfeit or stolen spare parts for automobiles and motorbykes bring about an annual turnover estimated at 1,000 billion lire. This is the first result of an investigation carried out by the research section of "Tomponzi Investigations", as a consequence of an enquiry promoted by a large foreign company, due to "strange events" concerning the German market (a decrease in mechanical and electric replacements exports, lots of spare parts stolen, vanishing cars), which have made a strong impact on Italy, too.
